Lindhurst Wind Farm Community Fund

This grant scheme has been set up to support community organisations and voluntary groups, including social enterprises, based in Rainworth, Blidworth and in the south Mansfield ward of Lindhurst. It has been made available by Lindhurst Wind Farm Ltd. and is operated by RWE Renewables Ltd. Forever Notts is co-ordinating the grant scheme.

SWEF Enterprise Fund

SWEF awards grants of up to £2,000 to young people in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County who need support with a business investment that will transform their business that they would otherwise not be able to afford.  It is particularly targeted at those who are not in education, employment or training.

The Gemini Fund

The Gemini Fund supports people in Nottingham city and county by making grants to community and voluntary groups who work to improve community welfare. The fund is open to applications from fully constituted voluntary and community groups, locally registered charities, community interest companies, charitable incorporated organisations and social enterprises. Grants are available to qualifying projects under the following themes:- refugees and asylum seekers, homelessness, food poverty, young people's wellbeing and education for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Thomas Farr Charity was established in 1989, following the sale of the Home Brewery in Nottingham with the aim of supporting registered charities, constituted voluntary and community groups in those areas where the Home Brewery had a presence.

Major Oak Fund

The Nottinghamshire Community Foundation has its own discretionary grant fund which provides support for exceptional local projects that fall outside of the criteria of our other grant funds and are deemed to be game changers. This fund is not open to applications. Outstanding groups will be invited to apply.
