Why have you rebranded and changed your name?

This evolution is part of a project to improve what we do to put us in a stronger position for the decades to come.

For the community groups we work with every day, our fundholders, supporters, the local businesses and us here at Forever Notts, the past few years have brought about many challenges, and with those come opportunities to learn.

We can’t stand still, in today’s challenging economic environment things need to change.

The need is growing – The number of people tumbling into poverty or unstable circumstances has massively increased, and with it the need for local services is higher than ever. Because of this, the pressure on our grant-making is increasing and we know we must raise more money to meet the need.

This presents a challenge and an opportunity.
Our name change is part of our long-term plan to help us grow; to make it easy for donors and supporters to find us, so we can get more funds in and money out into the community as quickly as possible, where it is needed most.

Are you still a community foundation?

Yes, we are still a community foundation, and still hold all the same accreditation, values and responsibilities associated with being part of the UK Community Foundations network.

Will you still be giving grants in Nottinghamshire?

Yes. Our intention is not to dilute our grant making, but to grow it. So, our available funds and grants for people and communities in Nottinghamshire will continue with the same commitment from our team and fundholders.

Will this change anything for me as a grant recipient?

As a grant recipient, everything remains the same. Your agreements with us and our commitment to your grant will not change. Our company number and charity number are the same, it’s just our name that’s different, so all our agreements and contracts with you are still valid.

You’ll notice in time that the logos on reports and letters change.

I’ve received a grant, but I’m still using the old logos and branding, what should I do?

Get in touch with our team at enquiries@forevernotts.com who can supply a copy of our new logo as required.

Have any of the grant guidelines changed?

The guidelines relating to specific funds, to any existing grants or to our grant giving approach stay the same.

Is the team still the same?

Yes, our team is the same!
You can see everyone in the team on the Our About page using the Trustees or Staff and Volunteers tabs.

Will I need to reapply for any grants that I am waiting for a decision on?

You don’t need to reapply for any grants, all our grant assessment processes continue as normal and you’ll receive a decision in line with the grant you’ve applied for, which is usually between 8 and 12 weeks.

What if I want to donate to projects in Nottinghamshire, is this possible?

If you have a fund with us, you can always specify exactly how and where you’d like the funds to be directed.

If you want to donate to a specific fund, such as our Major Oak Fund you can click here to see all our donation funds. These funds take a collective approach to donations, so that many people can donate small amounts to make a big difference.

If you want to donate to a specific location, you can get in touch with us to talk about how we can make that happen.

I have a rolling direct debit donation, how will that be affected?

Thank you for continuing to support us, we appreciate your generosity.

There won’t be any changes to your direct debit donation. Forever Notts is now just the trading name for Nottinghamshire Community Foundation and our accounts and the terms under which you set up the direct debit remain the same.

If you’ve got any questions, please get in touch with us.

I'm an existing fundholder, what will change for me?

Nothing about our relationship with you as a fundholder will change.

The team remain the same, and everything you’ve agreed with us about the purpose and aims of your fund stay exactly the same.

You’ll notice that the logos change on your fundholder reports and statements.
